It's finally happened. I said I would never do it. But here I am, doing it. Yes, I am finally blogging. Wow!
Just the other day, I was reading Penny Raine's blog and she had a great post about the purpose of blogging. Her point was that if you don't have a real purpose for blogging then don't do it. "Whew!", I said to myself, "that doesn't apply to me because I don't have a blog." Well, here I am in the middle of my first post and I know my purpose. My purpose is multi-faceted. My daughter has been blogging for awhile now and she has met some wonderful young women who have a heart for God and are such an encouragement. I am in need of friendship so I am looking for that here.
I also see this as a place of mutual encouragement. I am finding some wonderful women who are encouraging and challenging me through their blogs. I hope to find more. And perhaps my journey might encourage someone else.
Hopefully this will be a place for my testimony and praise to God. He is worthy of our praise.
Psa 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
